Every Child Matters T-Shirt
100% of profits will go toward IRSSS (Indian Residential School Survivor Society). IRSSS provides essential services to Residential School Survivors, their families, and to those dealing with intergenerational traumas.
The artwork featured in this t-shirt design is by Kayla. Follow Kayla and support her work on Instagram @bearskindesigns. Kayla is an Indigenous (Oneida) artist who is inspired by the beauty of mother earth, and incorporates this into her artwork.
The design included at the front of the t-shirt is a pair of moccasins. Moccasins hold a deep meaning for many Indigenous communities. They often represent life and spirituality for many individuals as well. In this design, we decided to include moccasins to represent the Indigenous children who had to endure the horrific conditions in Residential Schools. It is a symbol of remembrance and of respect, to honour the lives of these children.
