This one day painting workshop features how to create vibrant
colours and get striking results for those brilliant garden
blossoms.
We will delve into composition, value, colour temperature,
layering and all the tips you need to create beautiful works of art.
This workshop is designed for all levels of painters and mediums.
DeLee will demo in gouache for those wishing to experiment with
this wonderful medium.

Small Stretched Canvasses - 8x8, 8x10, 9x12, 11x14,
Please bring 2 canvasses in any of the above sizes.
EASEL – Portable easel
PALETTE - Masterson’s Sta-wet preferred. Disposable or reusable plastic palettes are other options.
PAINTS – (artist grade preferred)
*Cad Yellow Light, Cad Yellow Medium, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Orange, *Cadmium Red Light, *Alizarin Crimson (or Quinacridone Rose as substitute), *Ultra Marine blue, *Manganese Blue, Phalo Green, Transparent Red Oxide, Titanium White
NOTE: The colours with the asterisk are recommended minimum palette - others are nice to have.
MEDIUM - Acrylic liquid medium gloss (matte is also available but I prefer gloss)
WATER – Container to rinse brush and spritzer bottle
Brushes –Synthetic #2, #4, #6, #8 (I prefer FLATS), rigger or small
round, PALLET knife (plastic or metal)
Sketch book, pencil, sharpener, eraser, masking tape, shop towels PHOTO REFERENCES - flowers and blossoms
