Between mudflats, intertidal zones, and riverside forests, this excursion, guided by the ornithologists of the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://ootadoussac.ca/en/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Tadoussac bird Observatory (TBO)</a>, will take you to the heart of a rich ecosystem, frequented by a multitude of shorebirds, ducks, and songbirds. The Short-billed Dowitcher, Northern Pintail, and Peregrine Falcon are among the emblematic species of this area. Throughout your walk, you will discover how these birds use the mudflats as a migratory stopover, and the conservation efforts made to preserve these sensitive environments. This outing is also a unique opportunity to understand the importance of coastal environments for migratory birds. ***Please note that in the event of strong winds or heavy rain, the activity will be canceled.
