Dementia Justice Canada is pleased to host a webinar focused on the medical, legal, and ethical considerations that arise when an accused person is living with dementia. Date and time:Wednesday, November 18, 2026 12:00 p.m. &ndash; 2:00 p.m. AT Registration is open to the justice community across Atlantic Canada. This two-hour session will be of interest to defence counsel, Crown prosecutors, and others working in or alongside the criminal justice system. Topics will include the behavioural symptoms relevant to alleged criminal conduct and legal issues such as fitness to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and sentencing considerations. Participants will engage in hypothetical case studies and a Q&amp;A session.
