THE KASHMIR FILES | GALA SCREENING with VIVEK AGNIHOTRI 🎬 A Special Screening Followed by an In-Person Discussion and Q&amp;AExperience The Kashmir Files on the big screen in a special Gala Screening featuring an in-person conversation with the film&#39;s Director and Producer, Vivek Agnihotri. Released in 2022, The Kashmir Files explores the experiences of Kashmiri Pandits during the period of violence and displacement in Kashmir. The film generated significant public discussion around the events it portrays, its representation of history and memory, and the questions it raises about identity, loss, displacement and the way difficult chapters of the past are remembered. As part of CLIFF 2026, Classic Legends Indian Film Festival, audiences will have the opportunity not only to watch the complete film on the big screen, but also to hear directly from the filmmaker about the making of the film, the stories and research behind it, the creative choices involved in bringing such a subject to cinema, and the conversations that followed its release.
