She writes about community, science, history, and places where the three overlap. Tanya has worked in the past as a graphic designer, an editor, and a dishwasher. Monique&rsquo;s middle-grade novel Wanted: Your House will be released this spring by Kids Can Press. Her work has been translated into French, Dutch, Korean and Armenian. Monique taught for 35 years at Montreal&rsquo;s Marianopolis College, wrote frequently for The Montreal Gazette and was a contributor to Radio-Canada&rsquo;s Plus on est de fous, plus on lit! She continues to enjoy doing school visits as well as giving writing workshops to aspiring writers of all ages.
