At least 1500 species are known to live in the park. Join an Educator from Stanley Park Ecology to observe and notice the wildlife, plants, and history of surrounding ecosystems. From towering trees to rocky shorelines, home to shy and mysterious creatures and delicate plants, this walk will highlight the captivating biodiversity of Stanley Park. The group will travel down South Creek Trail to Beaver Lake Trail, both of which are mostly level gravel paths, and then to the paved and flat seawall, likely using stairs to access the last portion of the walk. There is also a concrete culvert at Beaver Lake with a ~4cm lip that could potentially be challenging to cross with a wheeled mobility device, but assistance is available if desired. This program is delivered in English.
