Pendant le cours, les participant.e.s créeront un bloc de bois gravé au laser pourimprimer une petite édition, ainsi qu'un petit tampon en caoutchouc gravé pour marquer leursimpressions.Les participant.e.s apprendront à créer une image idéale pour la gravure au laser, y compris lameilleure façon d'améliorer vos images avec la machine laser. Nous discuterons de la manièrede sélectionner et de préparer le matériau approprié pour la gravure en relief. L'apprentissagedu flux de travail des logiciels, de Photoshop à la sortie des images vers la machine laser, seraégalement au centre du cours. La manière d'utiliser la machine en toute sécurité et de manièreefficace sera par ailleurs démontrée. During the course, Student’s will create a laser engraved wood block to print a small edition with, as well as a making a small engraved rubber stamp for marking their prints.   Students will learn what constitutes an ideal image for laser engraving, including how best to improve your images for the machine. We will discuss how to select and prepare the proper material for relief printmaking. Learning the software workflow from Photoshop to outputting images to the laser machine will also be a focus of the course. How to operate the machine in a safe and effective manner will be demostrated as well. Finally, students will learn how to ink and print their final artworks. ----Important: Due to a high rate of absenteeism in the subsidized training programs offered through Intervention-Compétences, we wish to clarify that no refunds will be issued after registration. These courses aim to provide cultural and artistic professionals with affordable opportunities for professional development. With limited and valuable spots, attendance is essential.
