Join us on October 17, 2026 for an easy 5km hike on scenic Tinkers Point Path! Follow experienced ECT volunteer hike leaders Theresa and Karla for an estimated 2-3 hour hike from Tors Cove, north bound to Mobile. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the meeting place, however carpooling is encouraged.&nbsp;Meeting Time: 9:00 amMeeting Location: Mobile Central High School parking <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.google.com/maps/search/lot+(2+Riverhead+Rd,+Mobile?entry=gmail&source=g" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">lot (2 Riverhead Rd, Mobile</a>)&nbsp;Logistics &amp; CarpoolingBecause this is an end to end linear hike, carpooling logistics are required:*9:00- Meetup: All participants will meet in the Mobile Central High parking lot at 9:00 am*Carpooling: We will leave a few cars at Mobile High and consolidate into a few vehicles and drive to the trail head in Tors Cove*The Hike: We will hike north from Tors Cove back to Mobile, ending &nbsp;at our parked vehicles*Carpooling: We will carpool together to bring people back to their cars in Tors Cove before wrapping up for the day.&nbsp;Preparation &amp; GearTo ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please come prepared:*Footwear: Sturdy hiking boots or &nbsp;shoes with good traction are recommended*Clothing: Dress in layers suitable for the weather*Nutrition: Bring adequate drinking water and trail snacks adequate for a 3 hour hikeNote: Hike leaders may turn away any participant who arrives without proper footwear or gear for safety reasons.&nbsp;Weather &amp; CancellationsIf poor conditions make hiking unsafe, the outing may be postponed or cancelled.
