Growing up in a musical family deeply rooted in Algerian heritage, Fethi developed a strong foundation in traditional sounds, which he later fused with modern global influences to create a style uniquely his own. He first gained international recognition as a founding member of Djmawi Africa, one of Algeria&rsquo;s most celebrated bands. For over 15 years, he toured the world with the group, bringing the vibrant energy of Algerian music to global audiences and collaborating across a wide range of genres. 🎶 MarocouleursGnawa music is a rich North African repertoire of songs and spiritual rhythms that combine ritual poetry with traditional music and dance. Gnawa is an ancestral music, an integral part of Maghreb folklore, and its instruments are among the oldest, such as the three-stringed bass lute known as the guembri or hajhouj.
