We will be delivering a hands-on workshop focusing on removing invasive garlic mustard and planting native species in its place. Learn about the impacts of invasive plants on local ecosystems, discover the important role that native species play in supporting biodiversity, local pollinators, and contribute directly to restoring healthy habitats in our community.&nbsp; Join us at Lithuania Park in the West End of Toronto for an evening of learning, planting, and restoring! Whether you&#39;re new to ecological restoration and gardening or if you have plenty of experience, all are welcome to come, connect, and get your hands in the soil!&nbsp; Location: Lithuania Park - meet on the edge of the park on via Oakmount Road (upper portion of the park by the baseball diamond).&nbsp;Closest subway station is Keele.&nbsp; Time: 6:00-8:00pm EST&nbsp; We will have tools and native seeds/seedlings ready for planting!&nbsp; This is a FREE event, but we encourage all to register given that spots are limited. **This workshop is part of a two-part series: the second event will be a cooking workshop where we will utilize the garlic mustard we&#39;ve harvested to make a delicious wild pesto!
