The University of Toronto&rsquo;s Undergraduate Engineering Research Day (UnERD)&nbsp;is an annual conference where undergraduate engineering students gather to present their research to a broad audience of fellow students, faculty, and industry professionals. UnERD aims to promote collaboration and networking, as well as the exchange of innovative solutions across a wide breadth of global challenges. As a collaboration between UnERD and Hi-Skule, UnERD is inviting high school students to view UnERD research presentations prepared by undergraduate students. This will allow students to learn about the undergraduate research experience and explore a wide range of engineering topics.&nbsp; Research topics are divided into the following categories:<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Computer/Data Sciences</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Biomedical Engineering</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Environmental Engineering and Sustainability</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Transdisciplinary Engineering Education &amp; Practice (TEP)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Chemical and Materials Engineering</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Aerospace, Robotics, Manufacturing, Mechatronics and ECE (ARMME)</li></ul>There is no fee to attend, however students will not be provided lunch or snacks.&nbsp;More details on the dedicated student viewing time slots to come.&nbsp; Some reminders:<ol fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">This is a professional event, please wear business casual&nbsp;and interact professionally with everyone.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Do not enter presentation rooms unless it is in a transition/break time.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">If you see a presenter being evaluated by a judge, do not talk to either party until the judging is clearly over.</li></ol>
