No experience required.<br /><br />This 6-week workshop is designed for folks with no or limited improv experience, as well as those who want to improve and practice their basic improv skills. No matter your experience level, this workshop will  provide copious belly laughs as we try out improv techniques and games in a relaxed, playful environment. No stage experience required. In fact, we LOVE people new to improv. This workshop is perfect for overcoming stage, speaking, or general anxiety. Find out why improv techniques are so valued by actors, writers, comedians, educators, and business professionals. But mostly, it's a heck of a lot of fun!<br /><br />Hosted by Antigonish Improv veterans Sarah and Dave, participants will be introduced to the basic principles of improv. We will begin with simple games to deeply ingrain the rules of saying yes, not blocking our ideas, feeling free and confident, and above all, bring the laughter. We will progress through a variety of exercises that engage the body and the mind in a gentle, no-pressure manner.
