Join us for an inclusive, all-levels improv class that celebrates queer joy, fosters community, and emphasizes the importance of active listening. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the exciting world of improvisation, where you’ll explore creative expression, build connections, and have fun with like-minded individuals. Elly Pond (she/they) is an actor and comedian originally from Guelph, Ontario. After graduating from Concordia University’s Acting for the Theatre Program in 2023, Elly has been freelancing for over five years in a variety of creative roles including acting, comedy, directing, producing, writing, puppeteering, and photography. They have worked with renowned comedy theatres such as Theatre Saint-Catherine, Montreal Improv, Bad Dog Theatre, The Making-Box Improv and Comedy Club, and Musical Improv Montreal. A festival producer for Bad Dog Theatre, Elly is also an award-winning sketch comedy writer and performer.
