Do you love someone with a disability; So Do WE! For over 70 years ago families had to plow hard ground to find ways for their sons and daughters to find belonging in the community, in schools and even within families. These pioneering families found some success among many struggles. They connected to other families and found that sharing their pathways to success made it easier for others to follow. Their vision created innovative community-based supports and services that performed well at what they were created to do. But&nbsp;these&nbsp;were only stepping-stones to what real community engagement truly is.&nbsp;Families created Inclusion Lethbridge (formerly LACL) was founded on the values that every person has an important contribution to make to the community and that that contribution can best be made on an inclusive pathway with the knowledge that families are the most invested in good outcomes.&nbsp;Our work and structures lead us to all corners of the community without limitations or conflicts of interest. We work in partnership with all stakeholders. &nbsp;We work to make fundamental changes in the lives of citizens with developmental disabilities.&nbsp;We are calling on you to show your commitment to the cause by purchasing a membership today.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your membership with Inclusion Lethbridge directly contributes to the core team and resources that ensure we are around for another 70 years, providing advocacy, community navigation; essential to us continuing to do good work in the community. &nbsp;&nbsp;Membership is activism. &nbsp;Your activism may be as simple as purchasing a membership, or as involved as actively supporting the organization in volunteering at fundraising and community awareness events, or by providing guidance and governance to the association as a member of our Board of Directors. &nbsp;Your membership dues and contributions to the organization are an investment into an inclusive community; an issue that is critical and urgent in the lives of people with developmental disabilities, and we cannot think of a better investment than that. &nbsp;Do you love someone with a disability; So Do WE! *Memberships can also be purchased at the office!*
