Step into the forge and try your hand at blacksmithing during our Ironman workshop in Three Hills. Guided by experienced smiths, you&rsquo;ll learn the basics of working with metal in a safe, structured setting. In our workshops we aim to teach the foundational skills of blacksmithing, which are: drawing out, flaring, upsetting, twisting, punching, splitting, bending and forge welding. 9:00 am- 12:00pm &nbsp;morning class for 10-12 year olds,&nbsp;1:30-4:30 pm the afternoon class for ages 13+, adults welcome.&nbsp; In this workshop we will start out by teaching how to properly stand at an anvil, how to use basic blacksmithing tools and safety in a blacksmithing shop. We will then teach the skills of drawing out, bending, twisting and half blows as participants make a metal coat hook to take home. 6 student participants per workshop ( +2 parent participants) Minimum of 4 participants to run a workshop &nbsp;&nbsp; You will be emailed the safety and clothing instructions.
