Endel Ruberg generously volunteered his time and talents at Joekaaru Camp, the organization this auction supports. His watercolor work reflects the same care and thoughtfulness he brought to his service—using light, color, and restraint to create a quietly moving piece. Osvald Timmas (1913–2005) was an Estonian-born Canadian modernist celebrated for his refined abstract compositions and mastery of watercolour. An elected member of both the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) and the American Watercolor Society (AWS), Timmas exhibited widely across Canada and the United States and is represented in numerous public and private collections.

The Fenced Garden exemplifies the artist’s mature abstract approach, balancing structured geometric elements with fluid washes of colour. The work remains in excellent condition and is presented in a professional mat and wood frame.
