Lansdowne Children's Centre is a highly accredited children's treatment centre connecting caregivers with life-changing resources, services and supports, for infants, children, and youth with physical, communication, and/or developmental needs. Lansdowne provides local specialized care to nearly 4,000 children and families annually, operating sites in Brantford, Caledonia, Dunnville and Simcoe, and working in a variety of community settings such as homes, schools, childcares, early learning environments, day camps and community programs. The infants, children and youth we support with this event include many whose needs may arise from Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome, Brain Injury, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, developmental delays, chromosomal disorders and neurological conditions. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to take part in all that our community has to offer, and to experience the joys of childhood to their very best ability. Lansdowne Children’s Centre Foundation works tirelessly to raise funds to support critical programs and services provided for our community’s children and youth by the great team members at Lansdowne Children’s Centre. Proceeds contribute to providing support workers so that kids can experience community-based activities like sports, camps and programs through Every Kid Counts, and they also support the continued expansion of Lansdowne supports, providing families with assistance to obtain technology assists – including communication and mobility devices – that help children to realize their potential.
