Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue annual raffle is back, and this time we're holding a 50/50 draw! 50% off all tickets sold will be awarded to one lucky winner on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 2:00pm during our Christmas Fair and Santa Photo event, and it could be you!  Manitoba Mutts launched in January of 2011 based on a need we saw to offer a non breed specific rescue to take in dogs from all over Manitoba who have been abandoned, abused or surrendered at no fault of their own. We are a registered charity, and our Revenue Canada Charity Registration Number is 812122711RR0001 LGCA 5501-RF-47039 RAFFLE RULES: 1.  Draw will take place Saturday December 13, 2025 at Winakwa Community Centre (980 Winakwa Road)2.  All ticket holders may witness the draw (it will occur during our annual Christmas Fair and Santa Photo event), but barring any technology issues, we will live stream the draw on our Facebook page, and post the winning ticket number on our website, Facebook page, and Instagram3.  The winner will be contacted via email or phone within 24 hours of the draw, and will have 2 weeks to respond with proof of identity and winning ticket and make arrangements for their winnings. Photo ID will be required to collect the winnings to ensure that the names match up, and that the winner is a resident of Manitoba 4.  If the winner can not provide proof of Manitoba residency and owning the winning ticket, a draw for a new winner will take place on Saturday December 27, 2025 at 2:00pm. 5.  Winning funds will be sent via etransfer (**amount dependent, as there is a weekly limit with our credit union), otherwise the winner will be required to pick the cash / cheque up from a volunteer's home in East Kildonan by Saturday December 27, 2025 at 2:00pm. 6.  Tickets can be purchased online through Zeffy or by emailing <a href="mailto:raffle@manitobamutts.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">raffle@manitobamutts.org</a> ; from any of our events or fairs during the year, or from one of our volunteers with the physical tickets 7.  We will post the updated ticket sale total at minimum once a week on our social media to reflect the in-person sales along with the online sales8.  All MMDR fosters and volunteers are permitted to purchase raffle tickets 9.  Raffle tickets are non-refundable10. Online ticket sales through Zeffy will close at 7:00pm on Friday December 12, 2025, etransfer and in-person sales will close at 1:59pm on Saturday December 13, 202513. All tickets sold online will have a physical ticket manually filled out for them and added to the prize drum.
