It will be AMEOWZING day of PAW-some fun in downtown Edmonton. Celebrate cats and cat culture while raising money and awareness to support rescues helping cats in need! The Edmonton International Cat Festival is Canada&#39;s first (since 2014) AND biggest celebration of all things cats!&nbsp; Best of all?&nbsp; The Edmonton International Cat Festival donates 100% of proceeds to local cat rescues!!Since 2014, we&rsquo;ve raised $187,000 for local rescues helping cats in need. This May 31, 2026 in-person celebration of cats, cat culture and cat people, will be held at: MacEwan University Robbins Health Learning Centre in Downtown Edmonton, AB from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.on Sunday, May 31, 2026. PLEASE NOTE: Our big 2026 festival finale takes place on a SUNDAY this year, instead of our typical Caturday, due to a venue conflict.&nbsp; There will be a cat-themed Meowcatplace (vendors + shopping), various cat crafts and CATivities, cat-themed presentations and workshops, celebrity cat meet &amp; greets, plenty of adoptable cats and kittens, and so meowch more!
