Join the Poodle Club of Alberta to learn, support and educate on the breed we all love. &nbsp;&nbsp; All new members join the club as associate members. <div fr-original-style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;' id="isPasted" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; line-height: 107%; font-size: 15px; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;">Associate Member:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Juniors under the age of 18 at the beginning of the membership year</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Individuals who reside outside of the area of operation</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Enthusiasts who don&rsquo;t currently own a purebred CKC registered poodle, but wish to learn more about the breed</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">May participate in meeting discussion at general meetings</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Volunteer for and participate in activities within the club.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Cannot serve on the Executive (President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Does not have voting rights at the AGM.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Active members not in good standing at the AGM become associate members until such time active membership status is regained</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">All new members are associate members for a period no less than 1 full membership year, before obtaining Active Member status</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Cannot advertise membership of the Poodle Club of Alberta on social media accounts or personal/kennel websites.</li></ul>&nbsp;Active Member:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A minimum age of 18 years old at the beginning of the membership year</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">CKC member in good standing</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Must own, breed and/or handle CKC registered poodles</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Actively participates in CKC sanctioned events with their poodle</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Attends a minimum of 50% of the general meetings called and/or events hosted by the Poodle Club of Alberta to be considered a member in good standing</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Can hold a position on the Executive (President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Represents one vote at the Poodle Club of Alberta AGM</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">May advertise membership of the Poodle Club of Alberta on social media accounts and personal/kennel websites</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Active members not in good standing at the AGM become associate members until such time active membership status is regained</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Suspension of a member by the CKC, automatically suspends privileges with the Poodle Club of Alberta</li></ul> </div>
