We are excited to open registration to the 2025 MIRA Case Competition! Register before February 5th at midnight to enjoy early bird rates and save $5 per ticket.  2025 Theme: Succession Planning Case Competition Format:(Max. team size is 4. You may also sign up individually and be paired up with other participants.) Participating teams are provided with a detailed case study highlighting a current and complex issue in industrial and labour relations, introduced by an industry professional. Teams are given up to 24 hours to analyze the case, identify key problems, and develop strategic solutions. Each team will make and deliver a brief presentation to a panel of judges on the afternoon of February 23rd. Presentations typically include an overview of the case, a thorough analysis of the issues, and a detailed implementation plan for the proposed solutions.  Following each presentation, the judging panel engages in a question-and-answer session with the team, probing deeper into their analysis, methodologies, and recommendations. Judges provide constructive feedback and evaluate each team based on criteria such as problem-solving approach, analytical rigor, feasibility of solutions, presentation skills, and teamwork. Scores are tallied to determine the finalists and eventual winners of the competition.
