The Amber Grey Sky
This is not just a play, and the people you will see on stage are not just characters. Every word, every tear, and every moment of silence in The Amber Grey Sky is woven from real-life stories and true historical events. It brings us face-to-face with a painful, deeply personal chapter of our past; one that lives as a faded memory for some and as a very sharp, stark reality for others.
Brought to the stage by Think Brown Media, this production is a deeply personal exploration of history, memory, and survival. Rooted in true events from November 1984, the play navigates the emotional landscape of a deeply painful era, transforming historical trauma into a powerful theatrical experience.
The Amber Grey Sky does not shy away from the harsh realities of our past. Instead, it asks the audience to bear witness to the profound resilience of those who endured it. By preserving these stories on stage, we hope to foster intergenerational dialogue, reflection, and a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and the triumphant resilience of the human spirit.
As the audience, we aren’t asking you to just sit back and watch a performance. We are inviting you to hold space for these true stories, to feel the weight of human sacrifices, and to listen closely to the echoes of a past.

DASTAAN-E-ISHQ.exe
Genre: Contemporary Dastaangoi • Live Music • Storytelling
There was a time when lovers wrote letters.
Today, they leave voice notes, send reels, and wait for typing dots.
The world has changed. The vocabulary has changed.
But has love?
Dastaan-E-Ishq.exe is a contemporary reimagining of the centuries-old South Asian art of Dastaangoi, where two storytellers journey across generations to explore the ever-changing language of love. Through live music, Urdu-Hindi poetry, humour, and storytelling, old tales meet modern relationships, revealing that every generation gives love new words, but the heart keeps telling the same story.
Heartfelt, hilarious, and deeply familiar, Dastaan-E-Ishq.exe is for anyone who has ever fallen in love, waited for a reply, held on to hope, or wondered if every generation has simply been searching for the same thing in different ways.
Perhaps every generation doesn't have a different love story.
Perhaps every generation simply tells it differently.
Language: Hindustani(Hindi, English, Urdu)
Suitable for all ages.
Synopsis
When journalist Raina interviews Chamkeeli, a woman accustomed to being judged before she’s heard, she expects a story. Instead, she finds herself drawn into a world where survival demands performance, truth comes wrapped in humour, and nothing is quite what it first appears.
As the boundaries between observer and subject begin to blur, the two women navigate questions of identity, loyalty, desire, and belonging. Beneath their conversations lies a city governed by its own rules, where power shifts without warning, silences carry weight, and survival often depends on who is willing to look away.
Set against the backdrop of a city that never sleeps, Chamkeeli is a moving exploration of friendship, human connection, and the stories people tell to survive.
Meet Raina, Samay, Jafar, Dolly, and Chamkeeli, people who bloom in the cracks of a restless city, carrying their ardent dreams through their sleepless nights.

Suitable for ages 13+
Zamanaa Badal Gaya Hai is a light-hearted family comedy where generations seem to have exchanged roles and how so. Between social-media wisdom, astrology and trending Bhakti Marg the family bogs down into a hilarious drama and some very questionable life advices. This not-so-ordinary household slowly turns into complete chaos. And just when it seems things cannot get more complicated, the family finds a brand-new reason to interfere in each other’s lives.
After all, zamanaa badal gaya hai… par family ab bhi wahi hai!
Suitable for all ages.
“Do Saaye…Ek Amrita”
What happens when two men, bound by the love of the same woman, meet beyond time?
Do Saaye Ek Amrita imagines an intimate conversation between Sahir Ludhianvi and Imroz, two extraordinary souls whose lives were forever shaped by Amrita Pritam. One carried her as an unfulfilled yearning, the other lived beside her as a devoted companion. Through memories, poetry, silences, and confessions, they revisit the woman who transformed their lives.
As Sahir and Imroz reflect on love, loss, longing, and companionship, Amrita’s soul becomes a silent witness, sometimes observing, sometimes remembering, and sometimes gently guiding the conversation.
More than a biographical play, it is a meditation on love in its many forms: the love that remains incomplete, the love that stays, and the love that transcends life itself.
A poetic theatrical experience celebrating three timeless souls whose words, art, and affection continue to inspire generations.
Suitable for all ages.
