MINIMUM AGE: 13+ Our two-week fashion workshop is a hands-on, style-forward experience designed for teens ready to explore creativity through clothing. Based out of Notre-Dame-des-Arts, the program blends guided thrifting trips with hands-on clothing modification sessions. Each session kicks off with a new set of themes and challenges, presented by our workshop mentors to inspire participants to think outside the box and bring fresh energy to their designs. Teens will work toward creating 2&ndash;3 complete &ldquo;looks,&rdquo; each built around a different concept, using thrifted finds and their own custom touches. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have the chance to walk the runway and showcase their creations in a fashion show for friends and family to celebrate their growth, style, and individuality.&nbsp; Approximate Schedule Breakdown:&nbsp;Day 1: Introductory Session, Presenting Outfit Challenges, BrainstormingDay 2: First Thrifting Day trip!Day 3: Sewing Machine Lesson, Clothing ModificationsDay 4: Thrifting Day #2Day 5: Try on Day and Clothing ModificationsDay 6: Thrifting Day #3Days 7-10: TBD Based on Progress. Finishing Outfits and Modifications! Preparing for Fashion Show.&nbsp;This session will be similar in structure to the other two in the sense that participants will receive challenges and create outfits based on these over the two weeks leading to a fashion show to showcase their work. However, the challenges will be more focused on sewing than curating a look through second hand finds. Trips will be more tailored towards finding fabric than second hand clothing.
