Chickadees are one of our favourite winter birds. Celebrate their winter presence with this charming needle felting workshop led by artist Terri Smith.&nbsp; Where:&nbsp;Island Mountain Arts Public Gallery When: Sunday December 6 Time: 1:00 PM Cost:&nbsp;$70.00 with all proceeds going to the Artist and an option to donate additionally to IMA.2 hours of instruction and all materials included.&nbsp; From the Artist:&nbsp;&quot;I live in a world of make-believe. I always have really. And for the last few years I have found a way to make a living from this world of make-believe. I am just happiest when I am creating, or when I am sharing creativity with others. I believe that creating is innately a part of who we are as humans. I believe that we are all creative in various ways and that we are happiest, most in a flow state, with no worries or cares, when we are creating something. I love to share this love of creating with everyone I can! It brings me such joy, and I really feel it helps us all to take the time to create; to de-stress and unwind in a world that is so fast-paced and sometimes difficult. My felting kits are designed by me, from proto-typing, to photos and instructions, to ordering the bulk wool, weighing it out, and packing the kits by hand. It all takes time but I do so love what I do!&quot;
