Tote-Making Workshop

LXCL:Ages 4 - 16 years. All participants will go home with their designed poster. 5 PM - 6 PM. We will design and create posters for the upcoming Toronto Nakba Day protests. Nakba Day (May 15) commemorates the 1948 Palestinian "Catastrophe" (Nakba in Arabic), marking the displacement of over 750,000 Palestinians, destruction of over 530 villages, and loss of territory during the creation of the zionist state. It signifies the start of a lasting refugee crisis and an ongoing struggle for return for Palestinians.

LXCL:All ages and skill levels welcome. 5 PM - 8 PM. This is a drop-in style workshop, and we ask that participants donate what they can. Let's get together to paint rocks in support of Palestine and spread some love and positivity through art!
