Join us for one of our special owl night programs on Friday, Sept 25 or Saturday, Sept 26 at the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation.&nbsp; Start off the evening with a special presentation with our owl researchers about our LSLBO Owl Monitoring Program. Then hang out and enjoy lots of family friendly hands-on activities including owl science, owl games and owl crafts. And hopefully you have a chance to see a beautiful Northern Saw-whet Owl up close! Nets go up at 8:30 pm.&nbsp; PRE-REGISTRATION is required: These owl nights are very popular and &nbsp;a highlight experience for visitors. So sign up early. Then hang out and enjoy all the activities as we wait to see if they can catch up an owl. The event will run until 10:30 pm but visitors are welcome to say longer.&nbsp; Also a reminder to dress warm for the outdoor activities and also to bring a flashlight. We will be keeping the exterior lights off to help us catch owls that evening.&nbsp; This program is provided free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted to support our LSLBO owl monitoring program.
