This interactive, experiential workshop simulates Palestinian history from the late 19th century to today. Participants role-play Palestinian experiences of displacement, land loss, erasure, constant dehumanization, life at checkpoints, and other realities of life under occupation, followed by reflection and discussion on peace and justice. It aims to deepen understanding of the Palestinian struggle for freedom and self-determination beyond current events, fostering dialogue and potential advocacy for Palestinian rights.<p fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit; max-width: 100%; color: rgb(24, 93, 14); width: 396px; margin-inline: 0px !important; font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; margin: 0px; line-height: 1.5;" style="box-sizing: inherit; max-width: 100%; color: rgb(24, 93, 14); width: 396px; font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; line-height: 1.5; margin-inline: 0px !important; margin: 0px;"> Everyone is welcome.

<p fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit; max-width: 100%; color: rgb(24, 93, 14); width: 396px; margin-inline: 0px !important; font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; margin: 0px; line-height: 1.5;" style="box-sizing: inherit; max-width: 100%; color: rgb(24, 93, 14); width: 396px; font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; line-height: 1.5; margin-inline: 0px !important; margin: 0px;"> Pre-registration is required, as the event has a limit of 35 people. Why is the TIM Centre hosting this?&nbsp; The TIM Centre seeks to equip Christian leaders to hold together difference by creating safe spaces for difficult conversations and amplifying voices often underrepresented in the church. We are hosting this exercise as an opportunity to listen, learn, and engage a perspective on Palestine-Israel that many Christians have had little opportunity to encounter. It gives context for digging through the Sermon on the Mount, the Good Samaritan, Jesus&rsquo; escape from Bethlehem as a refugee, and so much more. Questions?
