For each sponsored owl, you may bring one companion during your visit. Children are welcome; however, please be aware that there may be a long wait during these evenings, and our tagging cabin has limited space, which may not provide enough room for a child to expend their energy.

<div><div>Help support McGill Bird Observatory’s research on Northern Saw-whet Owls by sponsoring one of the owls banded during fall migration !</div></div><div><div>Sponsor an owl for yourself, or as a gift for family or friends. The minimum cost of sponsorship is $100 and will allow you to visit our site during the evening with a loved one to observe these charming owls up close.</div></div> Included with each adoption is :<ul><li>The possibility of releasing your owl if you are present that night.</li><li>A donation receipt from our charitable organization (Migration Research Foundation Inc.) for the full value of your donation.</li><li>A digital certificate, which will be emailed to you in November, including a photo of your owl after banding.</li><li>Details about your bird such as age, sex, date of capture and more</li><li>The promise of being notified first if your owl is ever recovered elsewhere.</li></ul>Please note that bird captures are not guaranteed during your night, thank you for your understanding. Depending on availabilities, it may be possible to come back for another visit in case of the lack of captures. Also note that banding is cancelled in the case of rain, we will communicate with supporters in that case.
