Déroulement de la formationJour 1 :-Présentation de la technique de photogravure (polymère) et des avantages de l’utilisation de produits non toxiques dans cette technique;- Présentation de gravures et des différentes techniques matrices qui ont servi à leurréalisation;-Présentation des procédés et préparation des images (photos, dessins, photocopieslaser, acétates, etc.);--Utilisation de l’ordinateur dans la création : images “scannées”,-utilisation de logiciels dePhotoshop, utilisation des trames plus appropriées pour la photogravure,etc  .Jour 2 :- Préparation des plaques ou des supports avec lesquels le film sensible de polymèresera collé,- Collage du film sensible dans les plaques, exposition de l’image à la lumière UV et développement; Jour 3 : -Impression et préparation de l’encre et du papier;- Repérage du papier;- Impression des épreuves d’états et correction de l’image dans la plaque; -Rectification de l’image par différents processus;- Impression; Jour 4 : -Utilisation du processus de photogravure de polymère comme technique traditionnellede photogravure (utilisation de différents mordants sur les plaques de métal); -Impression des différents états et modification de la matrice avec l’utilisation de lapointe-sèche, le burin couteau, etc.; -Impression de plusieurs épreuves d’états. FormateurDiplômé de l’École technique du Luanda (Angola) en peinture décorative,  Carlos Calado poursuit ses études en enseignement des arts plastiques à l’École supérieure des beaux-arts àLisbonne (Portugal). Depuis 1985, il enseigne la lithographie et la gravure dans divers ateliers et institutions à travers le Québec.
