Pioneers Round Up &ndash; Celebrating 81 Years of AA in Calgary 📅 Saturday, October 17, 2026 | ⏰ 2:00 PM &ndash; 8:00 PM 📍 Dalhousie Community Church 🎟 Tickets: $40 Early Bird until August 31 | $50 after September 1 Tickets available online and from Central Office The Pioneers Round Up began in October 2005 at Dalhousie Community Church, created by the late Bill B. and Harry P. to honour Calgary&rsquo;s first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, held on October 17, 1945, at the York Hotel. What began as a one-time event quickly became a cherished tradition, carried forward by dedicated members who continue to honour Calgary&rsquo;s AA history and the people who helped carry the message forward. This October, we celebrate 81 years of AA in Calgary. The evening program includes a speaker panel featuring members with decades of recovery, an Al-Anon speaker offering perspective from family and loved ones, and a dinner speaker closing the evening with a message of hope. Guests will also enjoy an incredible catered meal included with their ticket, along with an evening of fellowship, gratitude, and connection. We look forward to welcoming you for an evening that honours those who came before us, strengthens the fellowship we share today, and carries the message forward for those still to come.
