A history too impossible and fragmented to fully cover, we look to community as the focal point of this event. Mishmish is an ongoing and ever-changing project from chef and designer Michelle Nazzal, preserving Palestinian food and cultural traditions in the diaspora. Mishmish is inspired by remembrance, liminality, and how we move through the world when we&rsquo;re severed from our ancestral lands. In exploring these themes, she has collaborated with restaurants, farmers, cultural workers, and artists from the SF Bay Area, NYC, London, Barcelona, and beyond. mishmishsouq.com / @mishmishsouq Amanda Ghazale Aziz is a writer, researcher, and arts programmer. Her work has appeared in PRISM, Hazlitt, and We Call to the Eye &amp; the Night: Love Poems by Writers of Arab Heritage (Persea Books).
