Immerse yourself in true wilderness on a grand scale. Explore the largest intact coastal temperate rainforest on earth from British Columbias most remote wildlife viewing lodge.


Spirit Bear Lodge is Indigenous owned and led, offering exclusive access to wildlife viewing areas and cultural sites within the Unceded Traditional Territory of the Kitasoo Xai'xais First Nation.


When? October 10-16

One room that can be single or double occupancy.

Flights to and from Bella Bella are not covered.

Estimated cost for one person is $14,850 for 6 nights.


Sample Itinerary

  • 7am breakfast, then meet on the dock at 8am for a day of adventure.

Whale watching

Visiting Indigenous Cultural sites

  • We explore lush estuaries, forested rivers, stunning inlets with immense waterfalls and granite cliffs, beaches and rocky shoreline.
  • Return to Spirit Bear Lodge in time for dinner.
  • Each evening may include a cultural experience or educational presentation, time to relax overlooking The Great Bear Sea, or the opportunity to explore the village of Klemtu.
