Kriss Boggild has studied painting, drawing and textile arts at Langara College and Emily Carr University. Her artistic practice is influenced by her love of Canadian land and seascapes, and by her love of textiles and quilting. Mixed media art has been a central aspect of her art practice. Later in her career her interpretations of the world have become more abstract. She splits her time between Vancouver and Mayne Island in the Southern Gulf Islands.
