Join us for an immersive field day at New Farm Centre designed to connect chefs with the people and principles behind the regenerative food movement.&nbsp; Co-hosted with 100km Foods, this one-day, invite-only symposium brings chefs from the GTA to the farm to explore how regenerative agriculture is the future of our food system, and why the ingredients you choose matter.&nbsp; The day begins with transportation from Toronto, followed by breakfast on the farm, an interactive tour through our regenerative fields, a group discussion about challenges and opportunities for chefs and farmers to work together, and ending with a wood-fired pizza lunch featuring seasonal ingredients grown by local producers.&nbsp; Throughout the day, we&#39;ll explore the connection between soil health, biodiversity, nutrient density, flavour, and the role restaurants can play in creating a more resilient food system. Chefs and restaurant owners will leave with a deeper understanding of regenerative agriculture, compelling stories they can share with guests, and ready-to-use messaging that can be incorporated into menus, social media, staff training, and restaurant communications.
