re:mani&eacute; is an event that highlights physical performance, sound, and objects such as paper, televisions, interactive gloves, and even bags of chips. The four artists reveal how bodily movements interact with the physical world, thereby creating the act of performance. As a medium for archiving and communication, paper bears the traces of the ideas and narratives that pass through it. In R&eacute;my Janelle&rsquo;s performance Monolithe de papier, this material moves beyond its documentary function to become a sonic body. Folded, crumpled, and spread out on stage, the paper gradually transforms into a sculpture in which every alteration shapes the music and redefines the space. A living form then emerges, situated between memory, gesture, and metamorphosis. The Stranger Will Have To Go Hungry is a sound performance by Leslie Predy constructed from Doritos, voices, and amplified snack bags. The crunching sounds become rhythms, the chewing takes on texture, and the nacho chips transform into instruments, inviting the audience to rediscover everyday consumption through a new way of listening. Rompre l&rsquo;espace, corps fugace is a performance by Nic Bourgeois that unfolds through the use of electronic gloves. Through his movements, the performer generates an electroacoustic piece and illuminates the space. His body appears, disappears, and transforms upon contact with a device that attempts to interpret it. On stage, a queer imagination takes shape: sensitive, fluid, and fleeting, in constant flux. From There to There but definitely not Here by Robin-Dimitrije Gosselin-Monasevic is an audiovisual performance blending ambient, drone, and experimental sounds, created with DIY synthesizers, a modified organ, and lo-fi video. Presented alongside a CRT tower, the work reincorporates forgotten technologies. Amid monotonous waves, feedback, and glitchy images, the piece creates an immersive space inspired as much by the cosmos and nature as by the digital infinite.
