He brings his professional experience of over 23 years at BMO, where he currently serves as Regional Vice President for the West Island, to actively support his community and help build a more inclusive society. Dana FlynnExecutive Director of L&rsquo;&Eacute;quipe Entreprise, a nonprofit organisation in Montreal&rsquo;s West Island, Dana works with her team to strengthen local food security and support the social and professional integration of adults living with mental health challenges. The event will take place at the offices of PME MTL Ouest-de-l’Île, who generously support gatherings like this to grow the West Island’s community sector. MEET OUR PANEL Elias BakakisBorn and raised in Montreal’s West Island, Elias is a dedicated community leader and father of three. He has served on the Board of Directors of West Island Community Shares for the past three years, following eight years on its funding distribution committee. He brings his professional experience of over 23 years at BMO, where he currently serves as Regional Vice President for the West Island, to actively support his community and help build a more inclusive society. Dana FlynnExecutive Director of L’Équipe Entreprise, a nonprofit organisation in Montreal’s West Island, Dana works with her team to strengthen local food security and support the social and professional integration of adults living with mental health challenges. She has been involved in the community sector since the age of 18, when she first joined a board of directors, and has remained committed to building organizations with meaningful impact. Gary WhittakerGary holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bishop’s University and an MBA from McGill University. He has a diverse professional background, including roles as a partner at KPMG, founder and president of Easton Sports Canada, and involvement in the manufacturing sector of composite materials. He teaches entrepreneurship at McGill University and serves on several West Island boards. Joanne Poirier O.A.Q.Committed to her community, Joanne serves on the Board of Directors of L’Équipe Entreprise, which supports individuals living with mental health challenges while contributing to food security in the West Island. With a degree in architecture, she brings her experience in construction management and urban planning to support the organization’s mission and governance.
