This conference will highlight the criminal and penal liability of managers at all levels of workplace health and safety. Me. Lisane Bertrand and Me. Chantal Poirier will take turns to give the training. They will review the legal provisions as well as the current state of case-law in the area of workplace health and safety with concrete examples, mainly regarding criminal and penal proceedings that may be brought against the employer and its managers and ways to avoid them or to defend against them.
