Join award-winning cowboy entertainer Rob Dinwoodie and his 3-piece band for a brand-new show exploring the origins of the BC cowboy through live music, Western storytelling, cowboy poetry, history, and plenty of fun. Discover the cowboys, cattle drives, and colourful characters who shaped the BC West. What connected the infamous Dalton Gang of Kansas to BC&#39;s Chilcotin? Which notorious stagecoach robber once worked as a cowboy in British Columbia? These stories and more come to life in an evening celebrating BC&#39;s cowboy heritage. Arrive early and try your hand at roping before settling into the SASCU Amphitheatre for&nbsp;the show and a traditional Cowboy Campfire. Saturday, September 5, 2026. Roping begins at 5:30 pm. Please dress for the weather and bring a jacket, bug spray, or anything else you may need to stay comfortable.Seating: The SASCU Amphitheatre features wooden bench seating with backs. Feel free to bring a cushion or blanket for added comfort.Washrooms: Located on the deck of the Sprig of Heather Restaurant.Shuttle Service: For guests needing assistance getting to the amphitheatre, a shuttle will run before and after the show.
