Hand Crafted Wood Humidor Value $800

This is a magnificent hand crafted humidor made from exotic woods.
This carved Cigar Humidor measures 27 x 16 x 14 cm and is made from
exotic hardwoods, including: Wenge, Purple Heart, Chechen, Bloodwood,
Padauk, and Black Walnut.
The Humidor contains two ventilated trays for the cigars, a compartment for
a re-fillable hydration capsule, a hygrometer for measuring the humidity
and temperature inside the box and a container made of aromatic red
cedar filled with cedar chips.
It was designed and built specifically for the RCAFA Auction by a West
Coast craftsman in 2026 and can be affixed with a personalized engraved
or carved plaque with the owner’s initials, if desired.
Should the purchaser wish, the interior can also be converted into a
stunning custom jewelry box with velvet lines trays and ring holders.
Notes:
Cigars are normally stored at humidity ranges from 65% to 72%, with
temperatures from 18–21°C. Too dry and they become brittle and harsh, too
moist and they may swell, burn poorly or become mouldy.
The aromatic red cedar helps to regulate humidity and is a tradition from
the past to mitigate against tobacco beetles.
