Written and directed by Sasanka Samir produced by Shyamantak Gautam, Bhaimon Da is inspired by the life and groundbreaking work of Munin Baruah, one of the most celebrated filmmakers in Assam’s history. Cinematographer Vanchinathan Murugesan brings Baruah’s world to life, meticulously recreating 1952 Golaghat with rich period detail — including the revival of the iconic Assam Mail passenger train from the 1950s.
