Sex(ed.) Magazine Bundle

The day is finally here, the second edition of our magazine, Sex[Ed.] will be releasing on May 1st! Sex[Ed.] is a collated expression of students' views on sexuality, pleasure, and sexual health. Filled with topics ranging from eroticism in the digital age to whack experiences in sexual education classes, to literary comparisons of feminist work, this magazine is a representation of what you (the students) have been wanting to say. We hope to have created something that allows for a conversation to be had, rid of stereotypes and censorship. *This purchase grants the buyer a physical copy of Sex[Ed.] Magazine: Vol. 2. This order does NOT cover delivery expenses* Sex[Ed.] is a student-run, non-profit magazine. As a project of Sex & Self Concordia, the magazine functions as a tool for destigmatizing sex and advocating for accessibility to sex education, gender advocacy, promoting sexual wellbeing, health, and pleasure. The magazine is a way to support this mission through bringing sex into the conversation through art and literature. We feature student's short stories, paintings, comics, poetry, op-eds, and educational writing. We would like to mix art and education to rebalance the way sex is thought about and talked about. All profits from the magazine go towards Sex & Self Concordia’s Wellness Pantry, which provides sexual health, gender-affirming, and wellness resources to students and local community members. The pantry offers a wide range of resources including menstrual products, safer sex supplies, and gender-affirming gear and resource and information pamphlets. The pantry actively bridges gaps in access to sexual and gender-affirming care while addressing financial barriers that often prevent marginalized communities from benefitting from critical resources. You will be able to give a donation when you checkout if you would like to further support Sex and Self Concordia's cause. Last year, we put together our first issue. The end result was a beautiful amalgamation of heartfelt poetry, collage, stark personal stories, and breathtaking photography. We recently shared our first edition as a free, online readable PDF. This year, we are working on the second volume of the mag, with the theme ‘DEVOUR’. Volume 2 will feature the works of over 40 students, as a way to open the door to more honest and inclusive discussions around sexuality, to stimulate connection through open conversation, and to question our schemas around power, identity, gender, and stigma in sex.
