Shivering Strings Winnipeg is a weekend fiddle camp running the weekend of Jan. 15-17, 2027.&nbsp; Join us to learn new fiddle tunes or learn about accompanying fiddle tunes on the piano or guitar. Sheet Music Tune Book&nbsp;- Beginner, intermediate, and advanced tune recordings as well as a pdf document with all instructor tunes for all levels are available online. Tunes will be available soon. Camp Preparation (Beg/Int/Adv/Accompaniment) - In order to prepare for camp, please practice all the tunes for the level that you have registered in. During camp, instructors won&#39;t be teaching the tunes, but instead, will be instructing the class on how to enhance the tunes by teaching ornamentation, bowings, and other techniques to add the fiddle groove and make the tunes sound authentic. Camp Preparation (Masterclasses)&nbsp;- Instructors will be teaching tunes by ear and you are not required to practice the tunes in the tune book. You may want to print and bring a copy of the tune book in order to play along during the weekend.&nbsp;Please print the whole pdf Tune Book, three-hole punch the pages, and bring them to camp in a binder. You will need a copy of the entire pdf because you will be playing the tunes for the level that you registered in as well as the collaboration tunes to accompany the other levels. During camp, you may also play through tunes from other levels with your instructors. If you have registered for the piano and guitar accompaniment class, please also print the entire pdf as you will be accompanying all levels.
