When ambitious, outsider schoolmaster Ichabod Crane arrives in the isolated hamlet of Tarrytown, he quickly sets his sights on Katrina Van Tassel—the town's most sought-after heiress. But winning her hand puts him directly in the crosshairs of the local alpha, Brom Bones. As jealousies flare at a late-night autumn gathering, local ghost stories sow seeds of dread. On his dark journey home, Ichabod discovers whether the town’s most horrifying legend—the Headless Horseman—is merely a tavern tale, or a lethal reality.Atmospheric, fast-paced, and rich with dark humour, this adult community theatre production explores the thin line between reason and paranoia.
