At a time when AI and technological surveillance are censoring the ways we speak, act and build community, zine culture is a powerful way to resist enclosures and express ourselves! We will explore what solidarity means to us and how zines can be an effective way to build community and share resources.&nbsp; In this zine making workshop facilitator Mehnaz Lamia will talk about the history of zines in social justice and solidarity movements. We&rsquo;ll have lots of zine-making materials available, and everyone will be encouraged to make a single accordion fold zine&mdash;or more if you want to!&nbsp; 🖤 Presented by:&nbsp;Mehnaz Lamia (OCAD Creative Writing) and Siren&rsquo;s Muse Publishing 😷 COVID mitigation: Masking is encouraged, and available for free at the door.
