Spring Bee Workshop with the Native Bee Society of BC

Join us for a spring bee workshop with the Native Bee Society of BC. This family friendly event will begin with a talk exploring the different types of bees that are native to British Columbia and how we can support these friendly pollinators. Pollinators are vital to maintaining healthy ecosystems. The workshop will visit areas with flowering plants at Maplewood Flats and teach participants how to see, identify, and appreciate native bees. You will learn about bees’ many roles and relationships to the biosphere. Participants will also learn how to photograph bees and upload their observations onto iNaturalist.

Come with your questions and join us for a lively time with the Native Bee Society.
