Join us on March 26, from 6-8 PM in the QPIRG McGill Alternative Library to learn the basics of Tatreez embroidery. Tatreez is a Palestinian embroidery tradition that has been passed down through generations that carries stories of land, identity, and resistance.&nbsp; This beginner-friendly workshop will be guided by local Palestinian Suzane Obeid, and will create space to learn about the significance of this cultural practice in preserving memory, identity, and as a form of resistance against erasure and ethnic cleansing. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Hot drinks and sweets will be served. Register in advance, as spots are limited!
