Reclaim, Subvert, Reimagine. Who gets to shape the technologies that shape our lives? This Tech-Forward Art Dialogue explores the relationships between technology, bodies, identity and power through feminist, queer, Indigenous, racialized, disabled and other marginalized creative practices. From DIY electronics and hacking to surveillance, digital labour, gaming, accessibility and speculative design, artists are questioning who technology is built for, who gets left out, and who gets to make it. What happens when we move beyond adapting to existing technologies and begin to reclaim, subvert and reimagine them?
