Frog in Hand invites you to Taranta Opening Night, a one-night-only fundraising celebration featuring a special evening of giving and dance to support our artistic and community programs. Be among the first to experience Taranta, a fierce ensemble dance work choreographed by Frog in Hand&#39;s Artistic Director Colleen Snell. It weaves an abstract narrative through compelling imagery, celebrating female power with a gestural language that is grounded, precise and explosive, drawing on motifs from agricultural work and &ldquo;women&rsquo;s work:&rdquo; sewing, carding wool, spinning thread, scything grass, and making hay. Taranta aspires to commune with the ancient roots of female experience, underlining the enduring relevance of female rage. The evening will include an exclusive VIP reception with delicious food, drinks, lively conversation, a special pre-show chat with the dancers, and an exciting silent auction filled with great finds.
