Her years of experience on ships are a major source of inspiration for her highly original tales. She is a popular bilingual storyteller for children, young people, and adults in Quebec and Ontario. Her repertoire includes tales of adventure, challenge, comedy and serious tales, some based on real events. Capitaine Bonnefemme offers storytelling workshops in both languages for all ages! Janet LeRoyis known for her authenticity, humour, and emotional connection to listeners of all ages. She tells monthly at Sully Gardens, the Wakefield Library and the Peggy Brewin Preschool. She told in the Halloween and Samhain events with Theatre Wakefield, at &Eacute;co-Odyss&eacute;e and in the Wakefield Writers Festival. She is appreciated for her heart-centred stories. Good Grief &ndash; The Heart of the Matter (with Heather Whaley) was well received at the 2022 Toronto International Storytelling Festival and in the 2024 Signature Series with Ottawa StoryTellers.
